These exterior iron handrails in concrete steps are our Standard Handrails/Railings. We can make the handrail posts with 3" X 3" base plates, with four 3/8" diameter holes in each of them for mounting yourself with wedge anchors, or we can make the handrails with extra long posts to be embedded into the concrete steps, as shown. These concrete steps were core drilled and then the posts were set into the holes with masonry epoxy. We drill  4" deep X 1 1/2" diameter holes into the concrete steps.The masonry epoxy is quick set, when we are done with the installation, the exterior iron handrails are ready to use.
